Tank Update

Tim helped me get the tank back on my truck. Didn't have any gas in the jerry can and no chance to get it filled tonight so no test tonight. Tomorrow is the big test to get her running again.

It seams that Nova Scotia is being considered for a spaceport. There might just be a reason for me to come home after all.

4 Days

Right so last night I put in the liquid Tank sealant. However it wasn't until today that I noticed that I have to let it cure for 4 days. So until Monday night I can't do anything to it.

Nixed

Well my OT got cut again so after this week I'm back to just regular hours again.

Victory

Right so I got the tank off the back of the truck. There is alot of shit spilled in the back of the truck but it's evaporating nicely. I got the pump out it could use a soaking in some marine Clean too so I might go get another bottle.

Screw It

Tried yet again tonight to crack the bolts but we only ended-up breaking a drill. So tomorrow just gonna cut them off.

Update: Gas Tank

Right well we couldn't get the 4 bolts holding the tank undone. Gonna try a stronger penetrating oil tomorrow and see if I can find a pipe to put over the socket wrench.

Gas Tank

Tonight I have a friend coming over to help me drop the rear gas tank outta my truck so I can clean it out.

Developments

Well my lease is up Dec 31st and I won't have my roommate anymore so now I have to find a place that I can afford and park my Motorcycle and Truck at.

New Problem

Ok so I was on my way home from the garage this afternoon. I had just replaced my front barrings. Then 4 blocks from home the damn thing dies in the middle of the intersection. I manage to get it out of there after much swearing and threatening. Let it sit for a bit then fire it up and get 2 more block before it dies again. This time I call a mechanic friend who has the same model truck. He don't know. Get it going again and this time I make in front of the building but have enough momentum to coast up to the parkade door. Fight with it a bit more and get it to limp into my parking spot.
Now it sounds like it's an interruption of fuel but I have no idea weather it's something in the tank blocking the intake or a clog in the fuel lines or if the injectors are clogged.

Long Over Due

Right so I have been e-mail by a few ppl who apparently do read this to see if I'm still alive. I know it's been over a month since I posted here so I'll fill you all in.

I did my little trip to Nova Scotia and got so damn cramped up in the plane it Hurt forever.

I just bought a Winter truck last Friday. It's a 1987 Ford F-150, currently it's only 2 wheel drive but that is going to be upgraded later. It took me 2 days to repair everything to make it road legal. Thankfully a friend of mine has his own Garage that I can do work at. Below are some pics of my Truck.
