Stick

So tonight I put insurance and a plate on my car and tried to drive it to work where I'm gonna leave it for the duration of my trip to Nova Scotia.
I actually drove manual. The clutch Master or Slave cylinder is dead so it acts up but I managed. What almost killed me was that I had to drive with the windows open cause the heater conked out, so my hands were friggin ice.

Now to Sleep.

Street Legal

My car is now street legal and ready.
Granted I still have a few things to do to it. Like put in new headlights, bleed the breaks one more time, and patch a small hole in the exhaust. Also there is a nagging problem that I'm having with the clutch. If the car stalls I have to use my foot to pull the clutch pedal up from the floor when the car is restarted.

So Monday I put insurance and plates on the car. ^_^

300ZX

I am the very proud owner of a 1984 Nissan 300ZX. I payed for it on Thursday and have been working to get the breaks to work since then. I found out on Saturday that the Master cylinder is dead. The largest junkyard around only has 1 300zx in it and that car has been picked clean long ago. Sunday I went to U-Wrench to meet the owner. He has been a mechanic for over 25 years and is even Nissan Factory trained, not to mention that he can get me parts at wholesale prices. So Tuesday night my Car is being towed there to be worked on.

My trip to Invermere has been canceled, instead I get to do a day trip to Edmonton by myself with 8 skids of government files.

I think that's everything.

Report From the Bar

Tonight I am blogging from my Bar.

At the moment I feel out flanked, out gunned and completely surrounded. Tamara has decided to make me totally miserable by telling me that she is no longer single and now has a bf not 3 days from when I asked her to be my gf and she said that she doesn't want to be attached to anyone. My job is boring me to death and due to my horrendous work schedule I'm gonna have to stop taking Japanese because I only have time to go to the class but no time to study, practice and do homework.

It's a good thing that I'm picking up my sports car on Thursday otherwise I would go totally bonkers.

The only upside is that I get to go out to Invermere, BC for 2 days starting Monday.

Insurance

Saturday morning I was informed that I am now on the Company Insurance. To celebrate I took a Minivan home. Also so I could drive a few ppl home who had no way.

Now I joyfully watch some of the 3rd season of Battlesrat Galatica.

Update

Here is what has been going on. Yesterday I called in sick I just couldn't do it. I know that doing that also cost me my paid Holiday Monday but I don't care. Today I had a light day so I got down to the DMV to get a Drivers Abstract and update my address. It came back clean. Nothing on it. So I'm most likely gonna be driving Company vehicles soon.

Gone

Garth is now back in Toronto. I dropped him off at the Airport at 7am this morning. I haven't really done much since. No place around here has loonine that I can buy off them so I can't do my laundry today and I can't do it tomorrow cause I go to school tomorrow night. Oh well.

Supposedly Tamara and I are going to go out and do something tonight but she is still "Getting ready" so I may die of old age before she is done.

Sweet

Just got back from Radium. The Hot Springs were amazing. So were the chicks in them (Man I wish I didn't have to squint so much without my glasses).
The car I ended up with was a Dodge Calibur, it's not too bad the best speed I hit was 180Km/h on the highway. ^_^

Compromise

Tamara isn't going with me to Radium she has to work. However Garth is being sent out by his GF tovisit for the weekend which was the original plan. So the hotel for me a Tamara, but kept the car so us guys can get out of town for a bit.

Possible Cancelation

I found out today in speaking with Tamara that she still hasn't asked her boss for the time off to go to Radium with me. If she hasn't asked by tomorrow after noon I'm gonna have to start calling and canceling reservations. :(

Today was my first day of school to learn Japanese. It was good and there are about 8 really hot women in my class. Just walking through the campus I though my heart was gonna give out.

Money

So I got to talk to my boss today. I told him about my rent increase (but not when it's effective). So he gave me a second raise to compensate, I now sit at a mighty $15.02 a hour. ^_^

Tamara is kinda uneasy about letting me pay for the trip to the Mountains but she kinda has no choice in the matter. She can't afford it so she has to let me treat her. He He.

Anyway I'm gonna try and get my Life in order. Unfortunately that is most likely mean buying some versatile solutions for modern living.
