Moved

Right so all my stuff is now in my apt. Nothing has been unpacked yet but I am stealing WIFI and their are alot of connections to chose from.

Moving

In theory I'm moving some time today the 30th.
I am gonna be off line until Telus can get around to setting up my Internet at the new place or until I find a nice WIFI signal that I can "Borrow".
I'm gonna take a nap night.

Must Not Kill

OMFG!
I want to kill the morons who were in charge of the 2 jobs I did today. The term "FUBAR" doesn't even begin to describe the inaptitude of our clients.
The move at Burlington had ppl who were on Vacation moving, ppl being added last minute to the list other ppl being taken off the move list after we have already moved them.
Howard and i had a side job to do halfway through the day, just install 3 suites. Simple should have taken an hour tops. It took 5 bloddy hours. The woman who was "in charge" ordered the wrong stuff, not enough stuff. She missed the point more than a retard does.
So monday Howard and I get to go clean up her mess.

I really don't want to have to unload 3 Trailers tommrow.

So Tired

These 12 hour days are making me so tired, but the money is sooooooo NICE.

Good morning McIntyre Shit Jobs Dept. Derek speaking.

Here is the score, it's tuesday night and I already have 6.25 hours overtime for the week. This is just from today and yesterday. I mean the money is nice but I am tired. I can't wait till sunday, really need a day off.

Made It

I managed to get up and to work today. We put in a 5 and a half hour day.
I'm not looking forward to haveing to work 6 more days this week though. The money is gonna be so good though.

L8er I have laundry to do and some sleep to catch up on.

Ok so I gave up my weekend to work. Today I did over 12 hours and I get to work tommorow.
I need beer.

Oh Snap

The 1986 V6 Fiero that I have been watching just dropped $200 in the asking price. Right now I'm trying to get a hold of Chris's Mom to see if an arrangement can be made so I can store and work on the car in her Garage.

Few Things Sorted

Right then today I managed to get my taxes mailed, and a copy of my RRSP contributions for last year mailed to my accountant (Mom).

I managed to call Dad and wish him a happy birthday. I had to leave a msg on the machine but I called which is the important part.

Next thing on my list is to e-mail the ppl at my bank and tell them that I'm not buying a place for atleast a year.

Very Tired

I've been so tired the past few days.
Yesterday and today I had to have a nap after work.

Oh and I sliced one of my fingers open today, that was fun.

I have to remember to put some stuff in the mail tommorow.

Damn Brain

My stupid fucking brain has pointed out the fact that the ownership of a car in this city is both financially unreasonably and unnecessary. You can't drive downtown cause parking in so hard to find, not to mention expensive. On top of that the traffic is horrible when ever I would be wanting to go some where.

So I'm gonna hold off on a car purchase for the time being. I will how ever checkout a Bike that I heard about over at Crown Army Surplus. Apparetnly they have 2 old army bike one in the show room and one in pieces in a box. I might get the one in a box.

I'm also looking at getting back into Marcital Arts. There are several school to chose from in Calgary, so I'm gonna have a look around.

Right so upon looking at the pics that I took I found that most of them are blurry cause my Cheap Camera doesn't like doing pics of the mountains.

So I found a 1984 Fiero for sale only $750. I really want it.
Unfortunally the end of this month is kinda expensive due to moving, so I kinda have to wait.
If it's still there after I'm settled I'm gonna pick it up.

Back From BC

Ok so I just got back from Radium BC.
OMFG.
The view of the mountains is fucking amazing. I wish I had the time to go climbing, or even hikeing. Damn near every business had Help Wanted signs in the windows.
I saw a few sweet looking condo's for sale. I'm kinda tempted to see if I can get my ass out there.
The girls are fucking HOT.

Anyway I have alot of pictures but I have to work tommrow so I'll deal with them on Friday and mabey I'll let you see some.

Off We Go

So I'm off to BC for 4 days. I'll see if I can Find somewhere to post while I'm there.

Right then.

Upon further consideration I have decided to investigate a shorter Welding Program at Sait.
This one is a kind of toss you off the Dock approach.
Now the cost of this 3 month course is almost half the cost of the 2 year program.

But anyway, I'm gonna go talk to some ppl from the school and some of the guys down at the Welder's Union.

Right so I have chosen the Engine that I shall put into a Fiero. Behold!

Damn Cough

I can't seam to stop coughing today, nomater what.
I've had almost half a pack of extra strength Halls, that's done nothing.
Drank quite a bit of apple juice.

I don't know how I'm gonna survive this trip tommrow.

The Fiero that I've been thinking about getting to make my project car is still for sale. Maybe I'll call about it today.

Overcome

The cold that I've been fighting all week has finaly beaten me.
I had to call in sick today. I have been dry coughing worse than a 40 year smoker, not to mention that I have to blow my noise even hour and everytime I do it start's bleeding.
I need some time to recover.

Second Thoughts

So today I was thinking.
Do I really want to go to school?
Do I want to become a welder?

I mean Wealders, get bad lungs from the fumes, and go blind from the flash. Not to mention of your a welding inspector you are constantly taking X-Rays, so your gonna kick it from the radiation.

Going to school alone is kinda against why I came out here. I came out to make money, and you have to pay a shit load of cash to sit in an classroom out here. Not to mention the cost of living while your sitting around learning.

Mabey I should just sell my land out in Nova Scotia, try and get $10-20k for it and saveup for the year that I have signed to have my apartment for then buy a place. On the flip side of that realstate prices out here are going up and fast.

Interesting

Well today was very interesting in a good way.
I think.

Got a little overtime in today, and our cluster fuck of a job wasn't too bad.
I was offered if I would like to go to Radium BC for 4 days to work.

The only bad side to that is I have to miss seeing Jello Biafria.

More good news I got my Apartment. I signed the Lease this afternoon.
I signed for a year.

Not Too Shabby

This morning I got up and had my shower. Then I noticed that I had much more time than usually to kill, but thought nothing of it. So I started to chat on MSN and someone mentioned go to work.
I damn near jumped off the coutch, I was supposed to go in early today.
So I made it to work about 7 and there was still lots of time for the Free Company Breakfast, it was being put on to welcome the guys from "Wall 2 Wall" a company that we bought. Got to do 3 really easy jobs with Robert B. and got off 2 hours early.

After work I managed to go look at a very promising and affordable apartment. Filled out my app and from the way they were talking I should know sometime tomorrow if I got the place.
While downtown I managed to pick-up a ticket to see Jello Biafria on April 10th.

I'm tired.

Little High

I went to look at a place this evening. It's a little high in the price for what they are offering.
Not to say that it isn't a nice place but kinda rich. I'm gonna look at a few others.

A Little Better

I assisted my body in raising my core tempature. I took a 4 hour nap wearing 2 sweaters, pair of short and pants, 2 pair of socks and a tuque. Curled up in my Ranger Blanket.
I can eat again but I'm still feeling down in the dumps.
I need 2 con someone into going to the store and getting me a can of apple juice.

Feel Bad

I have felt like crap since i work up this morning. I've had food, water, tryed naping to slep it off. None of it is working. Also I'm finding it very hard to get warm.
Damn I want some time off, I'm gonna do weekend jobs till I feel better.
