Damn It

Today I got a new forklift guy. Yes he is the third one in just as manny weeks.
I don't think he is gonna stay long. He is already looking for a new place to work.

I banged my head on the racks atleast 20 times this afternoon, gave me a fucking headache.
I also crushed my damn finger, the steel frames I was stacking got knocked my someone and they started to fall towards the 100 or so glass panels that were being taken out of the framing. I crushed my finger in the process of catching the frames.

I bought food today. Go me.
Not to neglect the purchase of my bus pass for next month (Yippy no more stupid Tickets).

Final note: Friday night and Saturday I get Over Time.

Too Far

I'm back.
Work wasn't that bad for a Monday. I enjoyed not having subzero temperatures all day.
I'm still quite stuffed up and can feel a noise bleed comming on from all of the blowing of my noise.

I want to go to the store but it seams so far. All I want to eat tonight is 2 Toquitos and a Jolt Cherry Bomb.
I guess I have to go cause I'm out of food in the house, and I would like to eat something.

Anyway I'm off to 7/11 while it's still above freezing.

Climatizing

This is the beginning of day 3 with this head cold. Despite many naps Saturday and Sunday I can't seam to shake it. My roommates have suggested that I am climatizing to the altitude, which I'm guessing is correct since I had this shit last time I cam out to Calgary.
I don't see what the big deal is I mean I'm only living 3,400 Ft higher than my normal elevation.

I am playing with the thought of calling in sick again. Currently I am blowing my noise every 3 mins or so, not to mention I feel like shit.
Upon thinking about it I'll go in and see if they will send me home. I somehow douit it, the bosses aren't very observant.

Arcanum

I've been playing Arcanum all day long. Only had a short break to got to 7/11.
Garth spent the day playing Fallout 2.
And Arron well he is still trying to beat Diablo 2.
I didn't realize how late it is I'm gonna try and grab 5 hours sleep before work.

Not so Shocking Realization

Right.
I have apparently drank ALL the cans of No Fear that 7/11 had. Wow that's a lot of caffeine.
I have tried Monster Assault, that only makes your ass assault the toilet ... Not gonna have that stuff again.
I'm tired.

Tazzer Rides All Around

Fucking Cape Breatoner.
I have got no FUCKING sleep.
5 of them came home drunk and made so much fucking noise. I had only been asleep for like 15mins. The temptation to give them all free tazzer rides on a 50,000 volt tazzer was great.
Hell I would have been happy to accept no sleep in exchange for nailing the Donna(A nice looking new arrival in the house). They wanted me to go upstairs and have a few drinks with them at damn near 3 am(2 hours until I have to get up for work).

Garth and Arron are now home. Garth has a story about how some guy tried to steal his coat.
I don't know if they want any assistance in beating the crap out of the guys in 2 weeks.

Excetuive

So today I went to luch with Josh and Janet from work. We ended up taking an Exictuve Lunch. Went out to a restraunt and then Tim Hortons on the way back. Took about an Hour.

I went down to Chinoock after work to pickup Arron's Chequqe for him. That was fun, I got to laugh at some of the kids on the Train.
Anyway I need food I'm thinking of going for pizza or tocquitos and a Speed Beer.

Sara Negus just informed me that she is getting Married next year. Holy Shit.

Distractions

Today was eventful.
At work we got the joy of seeing a trailer letgo from a Tractor going down the road and watch it skid off to the side of the road. That looked fucking cool. Also took them hours to get the damn thing turned so it could be towed again. I would no want to have to talk to that guys boss today.

On the way back to work from lunch we lost control of the van after turning into the parking lot and almost took out 6 car in the parkinglot. Good thing it aint our van.

On a side note there is no fucking snow removal in this city. Only major streets are cleared. everything else u fend for yourself.

And in shopping for Cars online today I saw 2 possiblitys. A nice Fiero and an upgrade from my old 200SX to a 240SX Nissan.

Blah

Tired, Cold, still sick.
I am still feeling terable but my stomach has calmed down abit, so I'm gonna try and go into work today. I really don't want to but missing 2 days is loosing out an money.

I still have 15mins to change my mind, so if I throwup again I'm not going today.

Better

I'm feeling much better now that I've had a days rest.
I also got my parcel from my Mom. She even shipped the candy bars that I forgot to take with me on my flight ^_^.
I got nothing else really, I'm gonna get somemore sleep ina bit.

As a Dog

Well it looks like Garth managed to give me his cold.
I am dead today, I couldn't sleep last night. I managed to get to sleep a little while agao and my staffing company just caled and woke me up to ask if I am going to be able to work tommrow.

On the plus side I checked the mail last night and I got my DVD from mom and the nice ppl at Ubuntu sent me lost of copys of their Operating system.

Behold The Awesome Power

Today ppl at my work learned not to fuck with me.
I had to unload 2 trailers today and I was felling like crap. The first trailer was a fucking disaster, Broken palets and damaged product. I was going to go home at lunch but my Manager offered to give me a lift to the store so I could get some asprine or something. I took the lift. Since I had 4 hours to go in my day I grabbed 2 cans of No Fear (Speed Beer).
I downed one right away. Then lunch was over and it was time to unload the other trailer.
My Manager Mark opened the door to the trailer and sitting right there were 2 pellets turned sideways so that u couldn't get a pallet jack into them and our Forklift drive had left early. Now mark who rarely does work in the warehouse read the labels on the 2 pallets. The first one was 260lb and the second was 900lb. While he was thinking I got pissed at the second Major fucked up trailer today. I picked up one end of the first pallet and spun it so one end was now on the dock and proceeded to lift the other end and throw the pallet onto the dock all the way. Then using the room I just made I swore loudly something about how I was gonna beat the shit out the "Fucking idiots" who loaded the trailer. I grabbed the second pallet and spun it so the opening for the pallet jack faced the dock and rammed the dock plate under the edge of the pallet.
When I looked up there was my Manager, Supervisor and 4 other warehouse ppl staring at me looking a little scared. My manager suggested that maybe I shouldn't drink any more "Speed Beer".

About 2 hours later during break and just after drinking my other speed beer in front of my manager I asked if there was some way that the company could assit me in getting certified for Forklift. He said that he was thinking of trying to get it authorized for he and I to become certified on the company dime, but if that didn't fly he would see about getting the company to partly finance me going for certification.

Back to The Grind

It's 5:30am, I'm up showered and ready to go.
EVE is down for matinence for a while so I can't play until tomorrow.

It looks like Garth, Arron and I maybe getting a place of our own, but who knows.

On the plus side of things 2 of my blisters are gone after having 2 days off. ^_^

Mission Accomplished

Ok so I got everything done today.
Laundry and got food. Not to mention alot of EVE.

No I didn't get into the Beta Test for Seed. Wish that I did, it looks really fun.

Right now Garth and I are playing EVE, while Arron plays Diablo 2 on my Laptop. Good times.

Shit To Do

Today I actually have things to do other than Play EVE. Not much though.
Got to by food cause I'm out.
Need to do laundry so I have something to ware to work tommorow.
And well that's about it.
Anyway Garth started playing EVE yesterday and he likes it. He has joined the Corp that I started. Now to just get Cory, Matt and Bill in here. I can send out 14 day free trial accounts because I'm a paying cx so I do.
Anyway gtg I have to make back the 20mil isk that I lost yesterday.

It Happened

We all knew this was coming. It's inevitable really.
Last night I reactivated my EVE-Online account. I gave Garth a guest account and he decided to leave it until morning, he wanted to go out.
Well he has been trying to get the thing started all day. But the website is down temporarily.

Over Time Pt 2

I am back from working 5 hours overtime downtown.
It was a nice change to be out with the installers.

But I still enjoy my warehouse position.

Over Time

I just got back from downtown where I put in 4 hours overtime. I get to go back for 8 am tomorrow for As much overtime as I can get.

Apparently Monday is an Alberta holiday something called family day. If I had been here longer I would get paid, but I just get the day off.

Very Bad Idea

I decided that I was gonna checkout a little restraunt down the street called the Whistle Time Restraunt. I thought that I would bike down since my bikes were still in the back of the warehouse and I only have 30 mins for lunch. I rode down and had my lunch very nice little place. Then time came to ride back, well that suxed ass. It was into a rather tough wind that was freezing fucking cold. It took me almost 10 mins to bike back and when I got back I couldn't feel my legs and my beard was a block of Ice. So that was bad.

On the plus side, I get to do some overtime tommorow night and a shit load of overtime this saturday. Also I got a new forklift guy today. OMFG he sux so bad that I'm considering geting my certification just so I can use the lift for the things I need done. Thankfully Jack was in the warehouse today that I could get him to move stuff for me.

Also Jack gave me and my bikes a lift home in his truck. ^_^

Fucking Cold

I'm getting ready to go to work and I decided to check the weather.
It's Fucking -22 out and dropping to -27, but that's not all add the wind chill and you get -38. This just begs call in sick be I'm poor. So I shall go in today then most likely get sick and have to call in Friday.
We shall see.

Now if you'll excuse me I must find some pants.

Little Better

Today was better at work.
I got to break some safety rules and get a few lifts from the forklift, courtesy of Jack. Had to do a little more cleaning in the Shell section. Tomorrow the guys who are supposed to handle that should be back.
I'm gonna see if I can con work into paying for me to become Forklift certified. Work should also be more bearable when I actually get paid, right now I haven't received any money. :(

Tards

Who ever is supposed to run the section of warehouse for the Shell account is a fucking moron and I'm gonna beat the living snot out of them. Today Peter (My forklift guy) and I spent 5 and a half hours cleaning up their section of the fucking warehouse. It's a huge mess we couldn't get the forklift around most of the isles.

So I'm thinking of maybe applying a few other places. Mainly cause I'm losing my Forklift man to another company. Also because of an attitude I noticed. Peter and I are the only ones who are just warehouse. Today there was a large group of Clients viewing the facility and some higher up ass saw me, Peter and our Manager Mark walking over. Mark was intoduced, however Peter and I weren't ever adnoledged as beening there. I'm sorry NO. Without ppl like us you don't make any money, and your client doesn't have anyone to move their shit. Not to mention there were a few Hot young girls in the group and how can they ask to see me later if you don't tell them my name.

The Second Day

Right today I'm going to leave at 5:30am so I have time to walk to the bank. I need to take out money for the Bikes and the rest of the money I own Garth.
I hope Garth remembers that he has to come over to my work today to help me take the Bikes home. As much as I enjoy bikeing around my Warehouse I would like to get them home to use here.

First Day Pt. 2

Back.
OMFG my warehouse is so dirty. Dust is everywhere.
I got 3 new blisters today thanks to getting used to my boots and actually walking around. This is addition to the 2 I already had.
I still have to walked down to the bank tonight.
I got 2 bikes at work today for $20. I'm gonna get Garth to help me take'm home tomorrow, since he works somewhat near by.

First Day Pt. 1

Right. It's 5:30am I'm up have had a shower and am ready for work. I should leave at 6 to catch the train but I may go a little earlyer so I can run into 7/11 to buy something for my lunch.

Furniture

Garth and I went and got some furniture today.
We now have an L shaped coutch and a coffee table, currently covered with our computers. I also now have a mattress and a dresser. ^_^

Upgrades

I'm now awaiting my first pay to do some upgrades to my Laptop. Go to 512MB ram and maybe a larger HDD.
PPL are up now. Garth and I are apparently going to get furniture. ^_^

And now my New Drink of Choice. That shows the small can I drink the latger one so Double all the contents.

Not Cool

I just woke-up it's 5 am. I am trying to get into a desent sleeping pattern for my new job.
Anyway I came down stairs and found Garth sleeping on the floor infront of his computer, and a rather Large mess that Arron left infront of mine. Now not only did he leave a mess infront of my computer he also booted it to windows (Very much not cool) and killed everything I had running in the process.
This after both Arron and garth had be gone for about a day.
This was done just so he could use my webcam.
This had better not happen again.

Stupid Red Tape

So I still don't have an Alberta ID because I have to not only provide my Nova Scotia drivers license, a birthcertificate. I also need a document that says I live here live a pay stub or rental agreement, or even a bill.

Top Of The Morning

It's getting near to 8am. I've been up since just before 6.
Only got 3 hours sleep, but I feel very refreshed like all the stress has melted away.
I've been listening to the faint rumble of planes taking off since 6am.

I'm thinking of taking Gentoo Linux off and running Ubuntu it might work better for my needs.

Garth's speakers just made some loud random noise, strange.

Stupid Plastic

My bank card decided that it doesn't want to work at the ATM's that are near my house. But it does work with interact machines. This is a problem when I want to get money so I had to update my address and order a new card. I hope it doesn't take too long to get here.

TOUCH DOWN

I am gainfully employed.
I work for MacIntire Group, as a "Materials Handler".
Now I got on there through a staffing company. So I technically work for the Staffing company for 6 to 8 weeks. Once that time is up I work directly for MacIntire. When I start it's gonna be $13.35 for the first 3 months then it goes up to $14.90.
Not to bad of a job for only being in town 3 days.

In other news the internet connection has been seriously pissing me the fuck off. Last night it slowed to a FUCKING crawl. I just tried a new router no help. I gotta fix this, the problem has prevented my 5 previous attempts to post to this blog. It just goes too slowly.

A staffing agency my have gotten me a job I wander down at 2 to talk to the ppl I may be working for. That means I have 2 hours to kill.
I actually got some sleep last night. I'm slowly getting on schedule with out here.

Starcraft is running on the computers ^_^. So we can have some Old School gaming going on.

Maday

Right so I crashed and burned after getting back from my second interview.
Got a 5 hour nap it felt so good.

Now to go see if any of my food is till there.

It appears that I kinda stayed up all night.
Now I didn't mean to do this, because I have 2 job interviews to go to today. The first one I have to leave for in an Hour and a Half.
Following that interview I have to get a few groceries cause well I'm hungry.

On the Plus side of this. I'm blissfully sitting in the basement with 2 desktops and 2 Laptops. All of which are on the floor cause we have no desks.

Net Up

Right so the network is now setup and running.
My comp, Garth's Comp, and the 2 Laptops were having a ball now.

Just having a few network issues while in Linux so I need to find some new drivers.

Slept

Ok so now that I've had sleep and can think more clearly.
One thing that sucked about my flight was 5 mins out of Pearson international I realized that I forgot my candy bars and chips at Mom's place.

I'm sitting here in the front room of my new house waiting for my Stuff to arrive today. As I type this I'm connecting to WIFI that is coming from across the street. I would like to thank default for providing me with some free bandwidth.

Once my things arrive I have to go out and buy food.

That's Fast

Ok so within less then 5 hours of being here I have setup 2 interviews for Thursday.
Not too shabby.

At the moment I'm too tired to think of anything else meaningful to post.

I'm Alive

I made it to Calgary.
God Damn planes are not made for ppl of my height. It's a tin can with wings.

So I'm here I'm alive and starting to settle in.

There is a 711 just a 5 min walk away. Come summer I'm gonna be in big slurp heaven.

In the mean time I have to pick-up a few things. But I have to wait for accompaniment. As a few things have changed since I was last here.

Still Up

It's almost 4am. Mom is gonna be waking up in about an hour to get ready to drive my sorry ass to the Airport. I don't think I'm gonna get any sleep this week.
I want a Timmy's right about now.

Called Garth earlier today to confirm that there will be someone home to let me in. Yippy.

I have to get a Key made sometime today or tomorrow for me new place. I have lots to do today once I arrive. I hope the stuff I shipped is going to survive fine.

Anyway this is my last post before I fly.

Twas The Night Before

It's so amazingly quiet here.
The Laptop and everything else that's going is either shipped earlier or in a bag to go on the Flight. Much to my dismay amigoingdown.com no longer exists, so I can't see my chances of making it out to Calgary.
I've never flown with West Jet before. Lets hope they are good.

I had a short nap just 3 hours. I'm tired but I can't seam to manage much more than that.

Once again hopping that Garth remembers to have someone home. Maybe I'll try and call him l8er. Anyway that's pretty much it.

Can't Sleep, Clown'll Eat Me

I'm too excited to sleep today.

In keeping with the theme of late I went and read all of Apple Geek. It was most amusing and I really love the art style.

I really don't know what to say. I'm totally in awe of the Glorious Adventure that I'm about to embark upon. I hope that they still free WIFI at the Airport, here in Halifax. That would be nice I could leech off their bandwidth. MMMMM bandwidth.

Got my Ticket all printed. I'm not gonna be as pleased by my departure this time. Last time I knew ppl who worked security at the airport and was escorted by them. Of course the other ppl getting on the plane with me didn't know that we were friends. The many different looks were most amusing.
If Garth fails to have someone home tomorrow to let me in, I'm going to unfortunately have to kill him.

Late Night Grub

I got hungry and decided to eat my tray of cabbage Rolls.
They are sooo good.

I finished catching up on Sinfest.


It's kinda surreal knowing that soon my life is going to completely change. My safety net of Family is going to be totally out of reach. Last time I went to Calgary I know why it failed. It was a lack of commitment. I didn't have my possessions out there, nothing to tie me down there. Nothing forcing me to stay.
There are also similarities to the failed attempt. Such as being reunited with a good friend, getting to showup outta nowhere and scare Brenda(Damn that's gonna be funny shit).

That's Better

So I've had a nap, listened to Shade's show and got some grub.
My back feels much better after the nap, hopefully it'll be even better after Monday night.

I have been here contemplating the meaning of Man's existence, and generally wasting time on-line. Why? I have nothing better to do, that's why.

I wish I didn't ship my Ghost in the shell 2 movie I really want to watch it.

Just want to get to Calgary and jump right into things. I was reading the entire Little Gamers archive the other day and couldn't help but think that living with Garth might be similar. Game, Work, Eat, Game, Nap, Leech, Game, Porn, repeat. Although Garth has threaded me with actually taking me out occasionally so that I will have some semblance of a life.

I Would Like the Deluxe Model

So ya my back is Fscking killing me. It's a long bloody drive to Lockport and back.
Thank GOD Cory is gonna work on my back Monday night. ^_^

On the good side. I figured out that I can replace the optical drive in this Laptop to something other than the POS CD-ROM drive that is currently in there. Yippy, DVD Burner here I come.
I'll most likely thrown in a larger HDD and a bit more ram too while I'm at it. That way the Laptop can be Leaching using someone else unsecured WIFI and not lag my MMO gaming goodness. Damn, I'm a genius.

4 Days to Kill

I sit here knowing the in exactly 4 days I'll be sitting my ass on a plane and about this time be at around 30000 feet.
I have no idea what I'm gonna do to occupy my time until then. I have no games to play they were all shipped. The movies too. This place seams to empty.
Now I just sit here on my little outdated Laptop and Blog. Nothing else to do really.

One positive thing. I found a new MMO that just started it's beta yesterday. It's different, there is no combat in the game it's more a social based thing. I tossed my hat into the ring anyway. Maybe I'll get in. Not that I can play the game on this Laptop. But it'll give me something to do when I'm out in Calgary.

Committed

I just got back from shipping my Stuff. Main Computer, LCD, Monitor so on and so forth.

There is no Turning back now damn it.

Just About Done

Almost everything that is going to be shipped has been boxed.
The exception to this is the 2 desktops and a few odds and ends.
Right now there are 5 Boxes ready to go.

I can't believe that it's almost time.
tomorrow I ship the boxes and Tuesday I fly.
The boxes should be arriving Wednesday or Thursday.
All in all I think it should cost me About $200 in shipping.

Mind Numbing Boredom

Right so it's 3 am. I'm bored outta my skull.
My mind is fighting over what I would like more. Space travel at my finger tips, or a world filled with the technology of Ghost in The Shell.
I just don't know.

Off The Wall Again

So I proposed a nutty Idea to the god ppl over at RantMedia.
In my quest to get off this rock. I am trying to organize independent research into this field.

I would be very happy to bugger off into space. But that's just me.
Maybe ppl are happy with their existence on this planet.
personally I can't stand to watch the politicians, Corporation, and the general populace destroying the planet anymore. So since I would not be hailed as a Hero for destroying these ppl. I must revert to Plan B. Getting of this rock.

White Out

There is about 2 feet of snow outside now. All of Nova Scotia is pretty much shutdown.
I still have power which is good, cause I can amuse myself on the mighty Internet.

Also watching Ghost in the Shell 2nd Gig.

Mom seams to be anxious about getting her floor back. She'll have it soon I want to ship the boxes out Friday.
